Midnight Mist was given to me by the original owner, Patricia, in 2009.

The domain was originally a website with MySpace resources and provided subdomain hosting.

When I took over, I intended on keeping the domain as a hosting site, and planned to add tutorials and other help. The domain became a subdomain hosting website. It wasn’t successful at all.

The domain sat for a while until I decided to try the script Quotish. Midnight Mist became a simple database of quotes.

I don’t have complete control over this domain and it’s automatically renewed each year. Knowing this after I checked up Whois.net and saw that the domain was renewed instead of left to expire, I decided to keep this domain, seeing as it was in my hands.

Sometime in 2009 while Midnight Mist was in limbo, my friend Meera had a small project – a Life In Quotes. She had posted a quote on Tumblr each day, intricately decorated and obviously created using a graphics program.

After seeing this I wanted to pull Midnight Mist up from its deep blue grave and do something to it.

This layout had been lying around as a possible layout for Heartdrops but I had ditched it in the shock of its blasted colours. XD

I have decided to fill this website with quotes I come across, lyrics, and other wonderful bunches of words. Thank you to Meera for the inspiration. <3
